MOQs vary by product and technique. For hand-knotted carpets, we typically start from 1 piece for custom orders, with competitive pricing from 50+ pieces. For Pashmina products, MOQ starts at 20–50 pieces depending on the style. Felt products have flexible minimums. We encourage early-stage buyers to reach out — we accommodate both small trial orders and large-volume rollouts.
Frequently
asked questions
Lead times depend on product complexity and order volume. Standard hand-knotted carpets take 8–12 weeks. Pashmina shawls and scarves typically take 4–6 weeks. Felt products are faster at 2–4 weeks. Custom designs may add 1–2 weeks for sampling and approval. We will confirm exact timelines with your quote and keep you updated through production.
It’s straightforward. Submit your design brief through our RFQ form — including size, material, colour preferences, and any reference artwork. We review it within one business day and send you a quote. Once confirmed, we create a strike-off sample for your approval before full production begins. You can also share design files (JPG, PNG, PDF, AI) securely — we sign NDAs for clients who require formal design protection.
Never. Rita Industries operates strictly as a white-label manufacturer. Your design, branding, and order details are treated as strictly confidential. We do not share client designs with any third party. A formal NDA is available upon request. This is a core part of how we work — your product is yours, your label is yours.
We work to internationally recognised ethical and quality standards. Certifications held or in progress include GoodWeave (child-labour-free), fair trade practices, and BSCI/Sedex social audits. All dyes are AZO-free and REACH-compliant for EU market entry. We can provide relevant compliance documentation — material declarations, dye safety sheets, and inspection reports — on request.
Yes. We ship to 15+ countries across Europe, North America, and beyond. We handle the full export process — production, quality inspection, documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin), and freight coordination. We work with reliable freight partners and can arrange FOB Kathmandu or CIF to your port, depending on your preference. Full export documents are provided with every shipment.
Yes, and we encourage it. You can request Pashmina fibre swatches, carpet wool swatches, felt density samples, colour pom boxes, or a strike-off sample of your specific design. Use our Sample Request form to specify what you need. Sample lead times are typically 2–3 weeks. Shipping costs for samples are billed to the client; these are credited against your first production order in many cases — ask us for details.
We work with 100% pure Pashmina (Grade A Changthangi goat fibre), as well as blends — Pashmina/silk, Pashmina/wool, and Pashmina/cashmere blends — depending on the end market and price point. All fibres are ethically sourced. We can provide fibre composition certificates for EU textile labelling compliance (including Pashmina-specific cashmere content declarations required under EU and FTC regulations).
We produce hand-knotted, hand-tufted, and flatweave carpets. Hand-knotted carpets (45–200 knots per square inch) are the most premium and durable — ideal for luxury retail and hospitality. Hand-tufted is faster to produce and suits mid-range retail and interior design projects. Flatweave is lightweight and contemporary, popular for modern European interiors. Our team is happy to recommend the right technique based on your budget, timeline, and end-use.
Our clients include importers, distributors, interior designers, hospitality brands, and boutique retailers — primarily from Europe and North America. We are always open to new long-term partnerships. Most of our clients come back for repeat orders, which we believe reflects our commitment to consistency, confidentiality, and quality. If you are exploring a sourcing relationship, the best first step is to fill out our RFQ form or request a sample pack — we’ll take it from there.
